The Family Biweekly Newsletter of The New Room Parish |
As we enter another beautiful week together, we’re pleased to present this supplemental newsletter. Typically, we send out our newsletters on the first and third Thursdays of the month. However, with this month featuring three Thursdays and a fifth week, we wanted to make sure you have all the important upcoming events from our five campuses at your fingertips. This newsletter focuses solely on those events, so please take a moment to read through and mark your calendars. We hope it helps you stay connected with our vibrant community! May your week be filled with faith, joy, and growth as we continue this journey together. |

All Saints Sunday – November 3rd |
On Sunday, November 3rd, we will celebrate All Saints Sunday, a special time to honor and remember the lives of loved ones, family members, and friends who have passed away in the last 12 months. During the service, we will lift up their names in remembrance, acknowledging their lasting impact and presence in our hearts. If you would like a loved one to be remembered during this service, please send their name, along with the campus they were connected to, to communications@thenewroomparish.com by November 1st. Let us come together as a community, sharing in the love and memory of those who have gone before us. We look forward to this meaningful time of reflection and prayer as we honor the saints who have touched our lives. |

Know Your ABCDs Bible Study |
Dear Beloved People of the New Room, As my journey to ordination as an Elder in Full Connection continues, I am required to implement a series of Bible studies with the people of the New Room. I invite you to join me for Session 2 of the Bible Study Series titled “Know Your ABCDs,” where we will explore the lives of five individuals from the Bible. Each week, we will focus on a different person whose name begins with A, B, C, D or s. Our next 'Know your ABCD's' bible study is scheduled for Thursday, November 7th at FUMC Meriden at 5:30 pm. Fellowship will start at 5:00 pm. To God be all the glory! Additional dates in November are scheduled for Thursday 11/14 and Thursday 11/21. (Please note, the usual Thursday 4:00 PM Bible Study will be canceled on these dates to accommodate this special series.) Thank you, New Room Family! Pastor Chinma |
| | Here’s what you can expect during these sessions: Interactive Group Activity: Participants will sit in groups of four and try to identify the chosen person for that week, starting with a name beginning with the week's letter. Clues and projected images will guide the discussion, leading to a general discussion on why the selected individual is relevant to us as 21st-century Christians. Bible Passages & Reflections: I will share Bible passages related to each person, accompanied by images to help deepen our understanding of their significance. Fellowship with Food: After the study, we will share in fellowship with pizza and water provided. To ensure enough food for all, please complete the attendance form and feel free to invite family and friends.
